From fire escape staircases – steel structures and facades. This was installed in July 2016. For a repeat client we were commissioned to install a steel frame to have perforated panels fitted to change the appearance of the building offices. The work included digging and concreting pads to take the posts and cut through’s into the building to fix on to existing beams inside the building. In addition to this work we removed 10ft high concrete posts and altered various beams within the building to allow for doorways.
This project was carried out at Peter Symonds Collage located in Winchester on April 2016. we built a timber frame which was attached the already existing staircase with galvanized brackets. The frame was cladded in cedar. The work was carried out during a term break. This was a repeat client to which we have a good relationship and carry out various other projects.
